Sustainability
Creating a better future for our clients and those around them also means protecting the future we all share.
We’re dedicated to creating a better tomorrow
We believe a better future for the world starts with what we do today. That’s why we practice and promote sustainability in our role as consumers and corporate citizens.
Committed to the long term
As a company that has always stressed the long term when it comes to investing, we believe we have a responsibility to meet the long-term challenges facing our planet. We focus on the areas where we can have the greatest positive impact. These areas include:
- Carbon footprint
- Community engagement
- Compost waste
- Health and well-being
- Landfill waste
- Recycling waste
We share the value our investors place on protecting and preserving our environment and look forward to continuing to develop new ways to be environmentally conscious.
Planting for positive impact
We’re excited to collaborate with the Arbor Day Foundation on a pledge to plant or sponsor the planting of over 10,000 trees in American forests of need.
Healthier buildings for a healthier world
We see every Edward Jones office as an opportunity to be more thoughtful about the impact of our buildings and associates. See what we’re doing to reduce our footprint.
Green landscaping
Our goal for sustainable landscaping is taking root, which includes a certified butterfly garden, a native prairie area and tree plantings.
The Katy Trail: A love letter to nature
The Katy Trail is the longest recreation rail-trail in the U.S., and the result of Ted and Pat Jones’ mutual love of conservation.
