Planting for positive impact: collaborating with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 10,000 trees

We’re excited to collaborate this year with the Arbor Day Foundation – the largest non-profit membership organization dedicated to planting trees – on a pledge to plant or sponsor the planting of 10,000 trees in American forests of need. This partnership will include 11 community planting events for associates and clients, who will work together to positively impact their local communities through trees.

Trees are the most scalable and affordable natural solution to help neutralize the ever-increasing negative side effects of climate change. Trees help to remove pollution and carbon dioxide from our atmosphere, purify our water supply, benefit wildlife, cool cities and improve overall health and well-being.

Edward Jones' first tree planting event was at the Katy Trail outside of St. Louis on Saturday, April 16. Tree planting events will be held throughout the year in communities Edward Jones serves throughout the U.S. including Atlanta, Charlotte, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Phoenix/Tempe, Raleigh-Durham, San Diego and St. Louis.

By partnering with organizations like the Arbor Day Foundation that share our passion and our purpose, we can continue to put our purpose in action and make a positive impact for our clients, colleagues, communities and society.
