Signing up for Online Access is easy and helps us connect more online. If you received an invite from your Edward Jones team, click the link in your email to begin sign up. Otherwise, visit edwardjones.com/signup to get started. Start by verifying your identity with your account number, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number. Create a user ID and password. You'll need to follow the security guidelines when creating them. You'll now need to verify your email. If your email address is on file, confirm it's correct, and click "Next." If it's not, enter your email to receive a verification link. Check your email and click the link to verify. Don't see the email? Check your junk or spam folder. Clicking the link in the email takes you back to the sign-up screen. Carefully read the terms and conditions. Click "I have read and agree to the terms," to continue. Select your security preference by signing up for text messaging or setting up security questions. If you sign up for text messaging, enter your mobile number and accept the terms and conditions to receive a security code. Once you receive your one-time use code, enter it to finish the signup process. If you prefer to set up security questions, select and answer three, then click "Complete enrollment." If you forget your password, follow these simple steps to reset access to your account. Visit edwardjones.com/login and select "Reset your password." Let us know what your relationship is with Edward Jones by clicking either "I am an Edward Jones client" or "I am not yet a client of Edward Jones." Then click "Continue." Enter your user ID, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number, then "Click continue." Select a delivery method for your authentication code, either text message, phone call, or email. When you receive your six-digit code enter it into the authentication code field and click "Continue." Follow the instructions to create your new password. Still having issues? Connecting accounts you hold outside of Edward Jones in Online Access is an easy and secure way to give you and your financial advisor a more complete view of your financial well-being. Before you get started, you'll need the login information for your outside accounts. Once you've gathered your information, log in to Online Access. Go to the Accounts section, click the Connect Accounts button in the top right to proceed. Select a suggested site or use the search bar to enter a financial institution. When prompted, enter your user ID and password for that account. Edward Jones does not have access to client user ID and password information for outside accounts. To connect your account, click Submit. After a few moments, your outside account will appear in the Accounts section of Online Access. Connect additional accounts at any time. Having any issues? You're more likely to reach any goal when you track your progress toward it. This video shows how to view and track your goals and explore how small changes could affect them.
To view and track the goals you've set with your financial advisor, visit the Goals section of Online Access. You'll be able to see an overview of your current goals and track your progress. Click a specific goal to see a more detailed breakdown. By clicking "Explore Scenarios," you can try adjusting your inputs and test what ifs to share and discuss with your Financial Advisor. Select any open field to adjust your inputs. For example, click "Add Savings" to add assets to your scenario. Then click "Preview Change" to see how your goal might be affected. Share the scenario with your Financial Advisor in a secure message so you can discuss it together. By working together with your Financial Advisor, you can set additional goals.
