Jeff Windau

Jeff Windau is a Senior Analyst on the SMA Portfolio Management Team, where he is responsible for coverage of the industrials sector for the firm's proprietary SMA strategies. Prior to joining the SMA Portfolio Management Team, Jeff served as an analyst covering industrial stocks for Securities Research.

Jeff joined the Securities Research team in February 2008 and has covered industrial, materials, consumer discretionary and health care companies for Edward Jones.

Prior to joining Edward Jones, Jeff held various positions with Emerson Electric and was involved in strategic planning, venture capital investing and product line management. He has also held positions in manufacturing engineering at Guidant with responsibilities in defibrillator, pacemaker and lead manufacturing. He also worked in orthopedic research.

Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of St. Louis.
