My decision to become a financial advisor was simple. Money, whether we admit it or not, is the groundwork for making ideas possible. Financial freedom was my goal growing up. Once I came to a point in my career where I was able to do the things that fueled my passions for life, it made me want to expand my good fortune to help others achieve their dreams too. I value growth. Not only in my clients' account values, but also in society as a whole. If, for example, I can give my advice to help a family put their grandchild through college, I would feel that I have fulfilled my purpose by helping expand their wealth, not only in monetary terms, but also in those priceless areas of life.
Edward Jones allows me to do just that, in an environment that is conducive to collaboration and goal setting. My primary focuses are the areas of:
Wealth strategies
Military professionals/veterans
Retirement income strategies
Estate/legacy considerations
Business retirement plans
Educating new investors
Retirement saving strategies
How I got interested in investing began when I was in the military. I became an officer after graduating Mississippi State. During my time there, I would wake in the mornings and read the Wall Street Journal® at breakfast and soon enough, my fellow officers were asking me to invest for them. By the time I left, finance was a part of my everyday life. It wasn't until I came across a financial advisor who shared a similar military past as me that I was convinced this was what I was meant to do.
My business is not a one-man operation, however. My Branch Office Administrators know the ins and outs of my clients and their needs just as well as I do. Without them, I wouldn't be able to execute the things I need. "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." That's my philosophy when it comes to working with my Branch Office Administrators.
I care about my clients, my team and your future. Let's get the conversation started.
