Money is a powerful tool. Growing up on a dairy farm and owning dairy cattle in high school introduced me to budgeting and motivated me to earn an ROTC scholarship. Upon graduation from the University of Missouri, I served for over seven years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. I earned a master's degree in business administration while on active duty which taught me more about the power of money.
In 1990, Edward Jones offered me the opportunity to help people reach their financial goals. I have my FINRA registrations, Life and Health Insurance Agent licenses and the CFP® and ChFC® professional designations. I began my career in Mission, KS, before relocating to St. Louis, MO, where I held multiple leadership roles and was one of the firm's general partners.
As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I use an established process to help my clients. The process starts with a free no-obligation conversation to discuss your financial goals and our process. If you choose to proceed, I will create a personalized strategy for you. My branch team and I will work with you and other professionals, including CPAs and estate planning attorneys, to put the strategy you select into action. We will partner with you to review progress and recommend adjustments to stay on track or modify the strategy if your goals or circumstances change.
My wife, Andrea, and I have six adult children, one grandchild, three cats (former rescue kittens), a Labrador Retriever and a Siberian Husky. As a veteran, I'm honored to serve on the board of the National World War I Museum & Memorial. We are active in our church and support several organizations including the United Way, the Combat Air Museum, the Rotary Club of Topeka, the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library and the Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center.
Please contact me to discuss your financial goals and concerns. I look forward to speaking with you.
