I was first introduced to Edward Jones in 1994 by my godfather and mentor. At the time, I was researching another job opportunity in preparation for my graduation from Marshall University. He shared what he enjoyed most about working for Edward Jones. He told me that he loved having the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people every day. From that point on, I wanted to have the same opportunity to make a difference in my community on a daily basis, with Edward Jones.
After spending 1994 in training, I opened the 13th office for Edward Jones in Barboursville, W.V., in March 1995. In 2000, I was became a limited partner of the firm and in late 2006, I was asked to lead a region of 70-plus financial advisors across five states. I am a seven-time qualifier for the Financial Advisor Leaders Conference, which recognizes the 800 top financial advisors in the firm.
I am a native of Barboursville and currently live in Huntington with my wife, Shawna, and our four daughters, Eden, Ella, Ashley and Bri. When I'm not spending time with my family, I enjoy cooking (BBQ), sports, volunteering at my church and serving on the board of directors of the Huntington City Mission.
My team includes two extraordinary branch office administrators, Nicole Runyon and Karen Riggio. Nicole has served for 17 years and Karen for 10 years, both helping make difference daily for our clients.
Our team uses an established 5-step process to make each client feel understood, informed, in control and ultimately secure with the aspects of their financial life. I thoroughly enjoy educating clients and helping them make sound financial decisions.
