I transitioned to be an Edward Jones financial advisor in 2007. I came from a large corporation project management role implementing enterprise solutions. I learned that every long-term strategy will have something change while the strategy is being executed. We simply need to acknowledge the impact, identify the impact to the strategy and make the necessary adjustments to help keep the strategy on track.
I took my project management skills and converted them to making a financial strategy for individuals, families and business owners. Before you can begin working toward achieving your financial goals, you must first define what’s important to yourself and your family. Does that include putting your children through college, making sure you've saved enough for retirement, leaving something for your heirs or something else? I can help you prioritize your needs and define your goals.
Ongoing reviews make sure we understand where we are and how we accomplish the goal. Helping clients move from point A to Point B is what I enjoy most. We help clients accomplish their goals by following a simple 5 step process.
Being recognized for my leadership skills, I was asked to serve on our region leadership team in 2015. In that same year, I am proud to note that I won the prestigious Edward Jones Spirit of Caring Award, which recognizes financial advisors who exemplify our culture of giving back.
I became a limited partner with Edward Jones in 2018 and enjoy being on additional internal groups to help our firm continue to grow and serve more clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing board games with friends and family. I like going back to South Dakota for pheasant hunting with my dog, Jemma, and spending time with my dad. I like traveling. (Come to our office to see the knick-knacks we have collected from our trips. I am sure we can share some interesting travel stories.)
