I became an Edward Jones financial advisor to have the opportunity to build my business while helping people in my community.
One of my most significant life experiences came from many years serving on-board submarines in the U.S. Navy. I learned nuclear engineering, leadership and the value of hard work in the Navy Nuclear Power program. I operated, maintained and supervised four different reactor plants and trained officer and enlisted engineering students at a nuclear prototype facility. I enjoy making complex topics easy to understand so, for those who want to learn, I spend lots of time explaining and teaching. I enjoy my work as a financial advisor in part because, as with engineering, there are a set of principles and practices that consistently work, when applied.
As a client, my aim is to make you feel relaxed and confident, knowing you’re doing the right things to build and maintain a solid financial foundation. Your confidence in our disciplined process is important to me. My desire is to enable you to focus on what is most important in your life, rather than worry about money. I will guide you and take care of the financial matters. Serious clients can expect customized strategies to reach long-term goals. I also work hand-in-hand with your CPA and attorney to address tax and estate strategy needs.
Helping me to serve you is Catherine O’Connor, our team's Branch Office Administrator. Catherine has been with Edward Jones for 13 years and takes care of our clients' administrative needs. Catherine holds a master's degree in business administration.
I've been married 34 years to my wife, Stacey. My faith and my family are what matter most to me. We have two grown daughters and three beautiful granddaughters. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren, as well as working on projects around the house.
