In 2000, I was a recently divorced stay-at-home mother of two young boys. I needed a job and was employed by a large savings and loan as a wholesale account executive of home mortgages. I loved my career – it gave me the ability to help people buy a home. However, the 2008 recession hit, and I was now living off unemployment and my savings to support my now teenaged sons and a large mortgage.
After going through two financial hardships, I decided I didn't want to have to go through this ever again and began a career as a financial advisor. I went to work for a large independent broker for a short while and then decided to join Edward Jones, where I have been serving clients since 2012.
At Edward Jones, my branch office administrator and I get to put our clients first. We truly enjoy being able to help people realize their financial dreams, however that looks to them. We listen to what our clients tell us, use a proven process to determine the best financial strategy for their needs, and partner with them throughout their lifetime to help achieve their goals. We feel we have the opportunity, on a daily basis, to impact the lives of others.
My sons are now grown living their incredible lives and one of them has given me two beautiful grandchildren. When I'm not at the office, I am visiting my grandchildren, or I am remodeling my home or traveling.
Because of my own personal experiences, I am determined to help the individual investors, families and small business owners in our community move toward financial success and be able to successfully navigate the unexpected events that come up in their own lives. Whether your goal is preparing for retirement, paying off debt, saving for education or all of the above, we will partner with you to develop a personalized strategy that fits your needs. It all starts with a single conversation, so give us a call or stop by our office to begin.
