After high school I wanted to be a math teacher, but the first semester of college classes made it clear to me that my love for numbers and my desire to help people were not quite suited for the classroom. I decided that a degree in business, with an emphasis on accounting and finance, would provide a wide range of opportunities to work doing something I like and provide for my family. I was considering a career in tax preparation or bank management when I was presented the opportunity to become a financial advisor with Edward Jones. That‘s when it all clicked: numbers, teaching, helping people and providing for my family. Perfect!
I have been with Edward Jones over 23 years and am glad to say that I found the best career and the best company. I have worked with so many wonderful clients and amazing associates. I count my blessings regularly.
Nichole, my wife, and I have eight children, four biological and four adopted (AKA “Batch 1“ and “Batch 2”). We raised Batch 1 in Alaska and are in the process of moving to Florida to raise Batch 2. We loved our time in Alaska, known as “The Last Frontier”, but adopting this sibling group made us consider changes and gave us the opportunity to embark on a new adventure.
I love my work - I have taught and educated clients about the options available to them, enabling them to make good choices and help achieve many of their financial goals.
My focus with clients is based on their entire financial well-being. I earned the CFP®, ChFC®, and AAMS™ designations. By looking at the entire financial picture and the goals that clients have, we are in position to help understand the next right steps to be taken, if any. Since starting with Edward Jones, I have strived to be pleasantly persistent while assisting clients that want help with their financial goals.
I look forward to partnering with you and your family in the Sunshine State.
