Have you ever felt "called" to do something? It's that feeling inside that you were meant to be involved in a certain project or occupation. You just know that the things you are working on are the best possible use of your time, talents and efforts.
Throughout my 30-plus years in financial services, I knew I enjoyed my work and that I had a knack for helping people understand their finances. I relished the opportunity to assist my clients in their decision-making process, often some of the most impactful decisions in their lives. Should we buy that car? Are we ready to be homeowners? How do we get out of debt? Can I afford to help my children pay for college?
But it wasn't until I came to Edward Jones in 2010 that I found my calling. The financial crisis of 2008 left a lot of my clients at the time questioning their investment decisions. Can I still retire? Should I sell everything and hold cash? Should I buy gold or real estate? The many years I had spent helping people with their most important financial decisions had given me the skills I needed to help them navigate these difficult situations. This, coupled with my passion for long-term investing and the Edward Jones philosophy, has made it possible for me to do what I do best and have the greatest impact on my clients and our great community.
If you have questions about your personal financial goals, need someone to understand these goals and how to develop a customized plan to help you achieve them, and if you want someone you can partner with to keep you on track, I want to be that person. I know I can help.
