In 2000, I began my career at Edward Jones as a financial advisor. My goal is to help you focus on building a strategy for retirement, protect your family from the unexpected and create a strategy for your estate. I believe it’s important to invest my time to understand what you’re working toward before you invest your money. Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family. My passion is helping others and learning what's most important to you.

I was born and raised in Dyer County, TN, and I have lived in this area most of my life. I attended college at the University of Tennessee at Martin where I earned a bachelor's degree in business. I currently reside in Dyersburg, TN, with my beautiful wife, Penny, my darling daughters, Laney and Mary Burks, and our dog, Archie.

In my free time, I love playing golf, traveling, watching my favorite sports and spending time with my family.

I'm a member at First Baptist Church-Dyersburg. I'm also the director of The Farms Jr Golf League, volunteer for the YMCA, a board member for Dyer County Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Rotary Club since 2000.

I have a wonderful branch team that consists of Andrea Robertson, who began her career at Edward Jones in 2012, and Courtney Kirby, who began her career in 2016. Andrea has lived West Tennessee all her life. She currently lives in Newbern, TN, with her husband, Chris, and children, Mason, Oakleigh and Ollie Jo. Courtney also is a lifelong West Tennessee resident and resides in Newbern, TN, with her husband, Chad, her son, Emerson and daughter, Maggie Mae. We have a great partnership and all have the same overriding goal in mind – creating the ideal client experience for our amazing clients.
