After graduating from Auburn University at age 20 (strategically planned to minimize debt) with a Bachelor of Science, I moved to Charlotte, NC, in 2002. I dreamed of a big backyard built within a strong community with lots of friends and close neighbors supporting each other with great schools for my family, but I knew that I had a long road to get there. I believe in delayed gratification and having strong long-term visions with a good work ethic. I started working for Newell-Rubbermaid within Lowe's locations and then transitioned into pharmaceutical sales. I completed my Master of Business Administration at Georgia State University in 2007. Before having children, we purchased and renovated a historic home in downtown Monroe that was built in 1875. After having two boys, we knew that we needed a big backyard and found ten acres in Weddington, NC, to call our forever home.

I found ways to connect to the community through service with Union County libraries, Wesley Chapel's Dogwood Park, Moms of Weddington Social Club, Waxhaw Woman's Club and school PTOs. After 2020, healthcare became a challenging environment to thrive, and I re-evaluated my strengths and my goals and decided to switch career paths. Knowing that I had enjoyed learning complicated medical information and supporting customer's choices as well as over-seeing paperwork, the transition into financial services came easily for me. Additionally, Edward Jones' philosophies aligned perfectly with mine. I use my real-world business experience and my passion towards helping others to educate and support my neighbors within my community.

As a family of four, we enjoy spending time outside playing basketball and lacrosse, hiking, ATVing, biking and photography. We have lots of animals including two twin cats, a rescued Border Collie pup, many koi fish and a leopard gecko. We designed the life of our dreams and found the path to get there. By focusing on getting debt-free and breaking the cycle of debt, I teach and support clients on how to budget and set both short- and long-term visions/goals. Let's set aside time to get to know each other better, determine what your goals are and set you and your family on a path to achieve your vision. Helping others live their dream life gives me fulfillment. I love working with clients that have strong work ethics and big dreams because anything is possible!
