Serving the community where I was born and raised was important to me when I started my career with Edward Jones in 2008. My office is located adjacent to downtown right on Lake Orion, overlooking my childhood fishing spot!
A graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business, a major in finance and a minor in economics, I played four years of football on scholarship and served as team captain for two years. I received my AAMS® designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Edward Jones as a firm is wholly owned by its employees since being organized into a partnership in 1974 by Ted Jones (son of Edward D. Jones) and has remained privately held since. In 2015, I accepted the offer to become a limited partner in the firm.
At Edward Jones, giving back is a part of our culture, and I have served in a number of leadership roles. Currently, I am serving as regional performance leader, developing our financial advisors and branch teams in the Metro Detroit Region. Previously, I served as regional recruiting leader, culture of compliance leader, field trainer, financial advisor coach and visiting veteran in the St. Louis home office, helping mentor the newest financial advisors in the firm from around the country during their initial training sessions.
I am also involved in our community as an active member of the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce, currently serving as immediate past president as well as serving on the board of directors. I have also served the Lake Orion Rotary Club as president, secretary and fundraising chairman.
My wife, Elise, and I have two children – our daughter, Paige, and our son, Owen. With our two French Brittanies, we are pleased to call Lake Orion home.
My branch office administrator, Page, has been with Edward Jones since 2016. She completes our branch team and is committed to serving our clients with the best service and experience possible.
