I grew up in Clark, SD and graduated in 1981. I attended Northern State University where I received both my bachelor's degree in education ('85) and a master's degree for teaching ('86) as well.

I was a teacher/coach in Hecla, SD for one year before moving on to Madison, SD where I taught computer courses and coached basketball and golf. While teaching at Madison, I attended SDSU and completed a Master of Education in Administration ('99) and went on to serve as a principal in Clark and Winner, SD before joining Edward Jones in 2002.

I met my wife-to-be, Marlene, while attending Northern State University. We will soon celebrate our 29th year of marriage. We have two children, Kennedy, who will graduate from the University of South Dakota in December 2020 and Lucas, who is a financial advisor working for Edward Jones.

As a family, we enjoy a variety of mostly outdoor activities, including baseball and basketball (mostly watching now), fishing, golfing, boating and other lake activities.

Making the move to Edward Jones has been truly gratifying as I am able to help my clients reach their financial goals. Amanda Peterson joined me nine years ago as my branch office administrator and we want to ensure that you get your questions answered and have a great experience. We partner with our clients throughout their lifetime to assist them in reaching their goals.

If creating the life you want to live and enjoying your family while we develop tax efficient ways for you to receive and transfer your wealth is important to you, then let's talk about how we can get it started!
