I began my Edward Jones career in 1999 as a financial advisor, opening the firm’s fourth branch office in Springfield, IL. Today, there are 25 Edward Jones financial advisors located throughout the Illinois capital area.

Since joining the firm, I have volunteered in numerous roles benefiting fellow financial advisors. I have served as visiting veteran, mentor, mentor trainer, field trainer and new financial advisor support specialist. In 2008, I was named a regional leader. I was named a principal with the firm in 2010.

I have received numerous awards throughout my career with Edward Jones. These include the Spirit of Caring Award, voted by my peers in 2018. In addition, I am a ten-time FA Leaders qualifier from 2012 to 2022, a designation recognizing some of the top advisors in the firm.

A graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb, I hold double majors in business education and physical education. I also earned an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois and hold the CRPC® and AAMS™ professional designations.

My wife, Patty, and I have lived in Sherman since 2002. We have three grown sons and enjoy spending time with them and our eight grandchildren.
