My family has farmed in Sutter and Meridian since the 1850s. I am still actively involved in our family farm. My interest in being a financial advisor stemmed from my desire to manage our family's wealth effectively.
My vision is to help people maximize their potential. That is why I am actively involved in community organizations such as the hospital foundation and Rotary. It is also why I have coached youth sports since my oldest son was 6 years old and why I serve my clients as their financial advisor.
My office mission is to help clients organize, protect, grow and transfer wealth. My education as a mechanical engineer at UC Davis, an MBA from Columbia University, my CFP® training, and my training at Edward Jones has allowed me to continuously improve my service as a financial advisor. I believe that we need to continuously strive to improve and grow both personally and professionally.
I am married to Gina Burke Tarke, who is also active in the community. I have a son, Franklin, who completed graduate school and is working for a publicly traded multinational firm and a son, Leighton, who is in high school. They also share my philosophy of continuous improvement in whatever they do and the importance of serving others to live a happy and productive life.
