2021 marks my 20th year as a financial advisor with Edward Jones, but not all at once. Allow me to explain.
My Edward Jones career began in 1987, opening our firm's first branch office in Scottsburg, IN. I then opened our second New Albany, IN branch in 1992 and served our clients until 1996.
From 1996 to 2010, I worked with PGA golf professional Fuzzy Zoeller to launch "The Wolf Challenge," an annual pro-celebrity golf event held at Covered Bridge Golf Club. Over the course of 13 years, we raised over $2 million for charities, which I am very proud of. As a bonus, I was able to work with a lot of really interesting people in the worlds of sport, business and entertainment, many who remain friends.
In 2011, I was asked to return to Edward Jones at our Jeffersonville location, an invitation which I happily accepted. Since returning, I have become a limited partner and have worked with new financial advisors in growing their practices.
I serve clients locally and nationally. My ideal clients are those needing to accomplish big goals which are most important to them. This includes planning for retirement, living in retirement, legacy planning and protecting clients against the unexpected.
As a 20-year industry veteran, I have been interviewed by newspaper publications nationally. In my free time, I host a nationally syndicated newspaper column called "BBQ My Way." Simply put, I'm a proud "foodie," as are a lot of my clients.
I earned a B.S. degree in business at Indiana State University with concentrations in economics, finance and insurance.
My wife, Liz, is an English teacher at Holy Family Parish in New Albany, IN. We have been married 32 years and have three children: Emily (30), Andrew (27) and Madeline (24).
Our Branch Office Administrator is Sarah Williams. We work as a team to provide all our clients with five-star service, helping them achieve the things which are most important to them.
We are currently accepting new clients and client referrals.
