I first experienced Edward Jones as a client when my wife and I were newly married. We appreciated the personal, straight-forward and transparent approach of Edward Jones. Although we couldn't articulate it this way at the time, we were looking for help developing a plan to manage and maximize our finances. We had multiple priorities at the same time: short-term reserves, long-term savings and preparing for education costs - all while hoping to protect our savings from various risks.
At the time, my work experience included co-founding a company and operating it as a partner in our family business for 15 years. I served on the board of directors and as president of our industry's trade association for several years.
I became a financial advisor because I believe I can make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families by helping them be able to live the lifestyle they want now and the lifestyle they aspire to in the future.
What has been most meaningful to me about the financial advising work I do now?
- Helping clients uncover what matters most to them.
- Getting to know the people I'm working with and their families.
- Developing strategies that clients feel comfortable with.
- Receiving numerous thank you's for keeping clients informed, especially during market volatility.
Starting as a client and continuing as one, I am guided by the end results clients want to receive. This is the basis for how we serve others. I believe that listening, seeking understanding and helping people achieve their long-term financial goals is what's most important to me professionally. Giving clients the confidence that their financial picture can turn out the way they intend gives me a great sense of satisfaction.
I look forward to hearing what's most important to you and to start building toward it. It all begins with a conversation. Let's get started.
