I believe one of the most important traits a financial advisor should have is the ability to listen. From the beginning of our first conversation, I will ask you what you want to talk about and from there, we will begin to identify what is most important to you. I truly enjoy getting to know our clients, discovering each person's unique experiences and discovering how we can best work together.
We know that retirement has changed from what we experienced watching our parents and grandparents retire. The single question of "will I have enough money to retire" has grown into what Edward Jones has identified as the Four Pillars of the New Retirement: Health, Family, Purpose and Finances. It's important for us to have conversations around all these areas and set your goals based on what is most important to you.
Through our established process, will begin to identify your true financial goals, your comfort with risk, and talk about the ways we can work together. This is an ongoing conversation that I enjoy having with our clients because we know our client goals and needs will continue to change over time.
I joined Edward Jones in 2006 and hold the AAMS® professional designation and am a limited partner of the firm. I serve a finite number of families to ensure that we maintain a consistently high level of advice and service.
I have been married to my wife, Trisha, for 25 years and we live nearby in Tustin. We have two wonderful adult daughters and we love to travel and visit new places.
I currently spend some of my free time actively involved in the Rotary Club of Orange. Some of my other free time is spent running and cycling while I prepare for the next triathlon (swimming is the tough one for me).
I earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands (Och Tamale!) and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
My extraordinary senior branch office administrator is Diana Bortis. She has been part of my team since 2013. We enjoy working with all our clients.
