As a veteran financial advisor, I thrive on stewardship – which in my mind means doing everything we can to help ensure our clients remain better off than when we first met. If in the future, a beneficiary of one of our clients says, "Wow, grandma and grandpa were really successful and they must have worked with some really smart people," then my career will have certainly all been worth it.
I joined Edward Jones in 2000 and hold a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. I have also earned the CFP® certification, CRPC™, AAMS™ and ChFC® professional designations, all of which help me to respectfully serve individual investors, business owners, multi-generational and blended families, inheritors and widows/widowers.
The successful partnerships we enjoy with our clients are built on a foundation of empathy and deep understanding. In every interaction, we come back to the same questions – 1) "If we were them, what would we need to know?", 2) "What are the unexpected things we should prepare for?" and 3) "Do they understand what's important to us and why?". By posing these questions, we help clients create a holistic financial strategy that supports their financial goals, prepares for the unexpected and helps build a legacy for future generations.
Supporting clients in reaching their goals is truly a team effort, and I am grateful for branch office administrators Judy Medek, Bonnie Christen and Dusty Jenkins – they are critical to our success. Judy, Bonnie and Dusty excel in service when it comes to improving our clients' lives – they make things simpler and easier where they can, so our clients can spend more time focused on who and what they love.
Outside the office, I love to spend time with family and friends. My family is very involved with the Parkinson's Foundation, as my mom and several clients have been affected. I am also active in the Sacramento Estate Planning Council and was involved in Rotary Club of Woodland and Broadway Sacramento.
