In 1990, the Air Force provided my first training in family financial management when I became a family financial counselor. The desire to understand finance was deep seated. After losing my grandfather, I remember the emotion and financial challenges my grandma faced after losing her husband. They remain fresh in my mind today. Experiencing firsthand what the burden of "unfinished retirement strategies" can do to a family, my desire to help others was peaked.
I knew my attention to detail and problem-solving ability that served me well in the bomb squad during Desert Storm could be applied to the many processes that serve clients' needs. In 1999, my career with Edward Jones began.
Twenty years later, I'm most proud of my accomplishments as an ever-learning father and husband, and leading an amazing team with one focus - knowing and serving our clients.
I maintain a learning focus to serving clients, including proactive communication and achieving coaching certifications, to maximize my ability to help clients in unique and effective ways that many may not have experienced.
Most recently, I obtained certificates from Cornell in "The psychology of leadership and leading virtual teams", which has developed our ability to serve clients at highly personal levels.
Our ideal clients are individual investors and families who value an established process, accountability, communication and an earned relationship of trust.
