Your question: What’s most important when working with a financial advisor? Finding someone who understands what's most important to you.
I started in 2013 when my financial advisor convinced me that I could make a difference in clients’ lives, despite not "fitting the mold" of a financial advisor. He was right.
My question: What's most important to me as a financial advisor? Understanding what is most important to my clients.
I help professionals plan for retirement, guiding through transitions – changing or retiring from work. I also provide financial guidance for bereaved individuals. I work with my clients, their CPAs and attorneys to create personalized and often complex financial strategies that align with their individual goals and needs. We can work together effectively and efficiently in person or via user-friendly, secure technology.
I have a BA from Rutgers University and moved to Georgia in 1993. I married Neal in 1995; our sons are Wes and Andrew. I am grateful to serve in the community where I live: I am on the board for the Chamber of Commerce and chair the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee. I am a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and the Henry County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and the president of the Luella High School Council.
I earned the Chartered Retired Professional Counselor (CRPC®) designation in 2020, and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS®) designation in 2021. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
My senior branch office administrator, Karen, and I provide personalized service to our client family with care and experience. Call or email [email protected] if you are committed to reaching your goals and want to explore working together to help get you there.
