Faith. Family. Freedom. Fraternité. This is my "Why."

In 2000, I left Washington, DC to return to my hometown and join Edward Jones as a financial advisor. Then – and now – I wanted to help people become and stay financially independent and create a healthier civic and community life.

I enjoy working with clients as they retire. Our team will work with you to help turn your savings into retirement income. I use an established process to build personalized strategies to help you achieve the goals specific and important to you.

There is a difference, though, between knowledge and wisdom. Not until my father passed away in 2004 did I understand the importance of what we do for our clients. Sitting with my mother and investing her money, I truly understood the impact we make in the lives of our clients.

That life event reinforced my belief in proper legacy strategies and asset allocation for the distribution phase of life.

I also love working with organizations building a better world. I received my Certified Advisor in Philanthropy Designation in 2022 and a certificate in nonprofit management from Lord Fairfax Community College's Office of Workforce Solutions in 2015 to better help non-profit clients with their endowments and retirement plans.

My wife, Jessica, and I have four children: Noah, Annie, Hunter and Luke. I am a past president of the Front Royal Rotary Club, the local United Way and BNI chapters. Currently, I am vice president of the ZBT Foundation and in 2018 was a National Review Institute regional fellow.

I served two terms on the Front Royal town council. In 2014, I received the FRUMC Service Candle, in 2018, was named Citizen of the Year by the area chamber of commerce and in 2020 and in 2022, received the Ted Jones Spirt of Caring award. In 2022, I received the David Moreman Empowering Youth Award from Rotary District 7570.

In my spare time, you'll find me running races, rooting for the Hokies and working with my beehives.

My team is rounded out by two branch office administrators. Tina has over 15 years of experience. She and her husband, Jimmy, live in Strasburg and have two grown children. Ginny started in 2018. She and her husband, Matt, live in Linden and have two children.
