For me, it all stems back to a conversation with my father that I still remember like it happened yesterday. While I was finishing up my second year of college and still unsure of a career path, he asked me if I had ever considered becoming an investment representative (as it was called then). From that moment forward, my professional career path had a clear direction.

A few short months later, I began my career with Edward Jones in 1999. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, I gained valuable on-the-job experience working in our firm's service division. I became a limited partner in 2007.

I received an Associate of Arts degree from St. Charles Community College in 1999 and attained the CFP® certification in 2007.

The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board's requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board's Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with Financial Planning Practice Standards.

My wife, Jennifer, and I have four children that we have raised here in western Saint Charles County. Living in the community affords us the opportunity to support our local businesses and give back when volunteering, whether as president of the New Melle Chamber of Commerce, through our church or even donating time to help organize a few fundraising trivia nights along the way.
