I began my career with Edward Jones in 2005 as a branch office administrator. In 2014, I became a limited partner in the firm. Today, I serve clients from my community by helping them set and reach their individual financial goals, whether it be planning for retirement, saving for college or simply trying to protect the financial future of yourself or your loved ones.
As a financial advisor, my mission is to focus on understanding what is important to individuals and their families, help them set financial goals through an established process and then partner together throughout their lives to help keep them on track to reach those goals. For me, it is about listening to you.
My desire to truly help individuals is deep-seated in my own personal experience. I found myself 23 years ago in a position of needing to dive deep into finance and investments at a time in my life when I had taken it for granted. My family experienced major medical struggles, causing me to shift from a stay-at-home mother to the primary wage earner for a time. Once the initial shift was over, I saw the need for educating people about the importance of being involved in the family financial strategy. Knowing first-hand the importance of having someone to work closely with families to help them organize, grow and protect their wealth, I felt called to become a financial advisor.
We have been residents of Wake Forest for 31 years. I have served on the Koinonia Foundation board of directors, which continues to be a passion of mine, am on the B.W.
