English language disclosure
Edward Jones uses English in its client business relationships and communications. All clients of Edward Jones must be able to read and understand the English language. All agreements with Edward Jones, whether evidenced in writing or not, will be construed and applied in English.
English is the controlling language for all other documents, notices, disclosures, and communications delivered or otherwise provided by Edward Jones. Any communication, document, notice, disclosure or other material Edward Jones provides in a language other than English is being provided as a courtesy and is not binding between Edward Jones and clients or prospective clients.
Any client or prospective client who desires a translation of any agreement, document, notice, disclosure, or communication is responsible for arranging or obtaining such translation, including any associated costs. Notwithstanding the provision of any such translation, the English language version of any agreement, document, notice, disclosure, or communication prepared by Edward Jones and delivered or otherwise provided to clients or prospective clients shall control for all purposes of application, interpretation, or construction.
