I work with clients to build and protect their wealth. I do this by first understanding what is important to them. Then, I use an established process to build a personalized investment strategy to help them reach their financial goal. Lastly, I partner with them throughout their life to help keep them on track. I strive to provide clients an ideal experience by making sure they feel understood, informed and empowered.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, I spent most of my 20-plus year career in commodities. I started off as a trading assistant on the floor of the New York Board of Trade executing orders in coffee, sugar and cocoa markets (Similar to Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd at the end of the hilarious movie "Trading Places"). I consistently rose through the ranks, eventually becoming head of Commodity Index and Exotic Trading North America at Deutsche Bank. There, I was managing a portfolio exposed to futures and options in oil, gasoline, copper, sugar, corn, currencies, etc.
I originally had plans to be a teacher when I was younger. My moment of grace is when I can see a person's eyes light up when they understand something. Edward Jones for me, is the perfect marriage of that desire to help and teach clients along with my finance background and experience.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my Great Swiss Mountain Dog "Buck". My other hobbies are Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, exploring the Caribbean, hiking and camping. I also am involved with several charities like The Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation and Autism Speaks.
