I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1980 and soon after moved to Borger, TX where I began working for Phillips Petroleum as a human relations associate. After two years of working for Phillips Petroleum, I started my career in the banking industry where I worked for the next 16 years. In 1999, I started as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Borger, TX, where I continue my practice today.
I help serious, long-term investors by never losing sight of what matters most to them. Over the last 22 years, I have developed and refined a process that helps my clients piece together their financial puzzle and, as their lives unfold and needs evolve, allows them and their loved ones to look to the future with anticipation.
In order to best serve my clients, I have also obtained the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
Beyond the office, I love to spend time with my wife and family, which includes two daughters, a son in law and four grandchildren. We enjoy the four seasons of the Texas panhandle and stay active with recreational activities like golf and hiking, but mostly hosting our four grandchildren. We also enjoy time spent travelling to experience different things and meeting new people.
I devote my volunteer time as an active leader in my church and serve as a board member of the Borger Economic Development Corporation and a member of the Borger Chamber of Commerce.
