I am a strong believer that everyone has a unique purpose and contribution they can give to the world – in my case, my purpose is to help others cultivate growth and confidence in themselves. As a long-time basketball coach, an active Kiwanis volunteer and as an Edward Jones financial advisor, I work with individuals to identify their goals and opportunities, and then partner with them to maximize their potential, both in the short term and long term.
In my role as a financial advisor, I put in the work to get to know my clients on a personal level so that I have a strong understanding of what matters most to them and what we need to do to help them reach their goals. I make it a priority to be honest with my assessments and recommendations so that my clients are always equipped with the information they need to help make the best decisions for their future.
My clients have come from all walks of life, so when I'm meeting with new individuals and families, they can be assured I have the knowledge and sensitivity to handle any specific considerations they have when I'm creating their personalized financial strategies. A few of my client focus areas include:
-Under-served populations, including communities of color, LGBTQ Plus and women investors
- Single parents and widows/widowers
- Hospital and healthcare employees
- Serious, long-term investors with multiple financial priorities
Along with my branch office administrator, Carey Heyman, we greatly enjoy making a difference in the lives of our clients. It's a wonderful feeling of accomplishment to help clients put a strategy into place and work with them to achieve their strategy objectives. Whether it's using my personal experiences to help clients navigate through college applications and scholarships, or receiving an invitation for a wedding my clients and I spent years planning for, getting to share in life's important moments with my clients is one of the best parts of my and Carey's careers.
