My desire to help others achieve financial security started young and eventually led to joining Edward Jones. My Dad worked for a papermill in Green Bay where he spent his career. I didn't realize it then, but I now know that my parents taught me two key lessons that guide my work. First, the value of hard work – most things worth achieving in life do not come easy. Second, the ability to prioritize – goals can't be all accomplished at the same time.
As I learned growing up, financial security is a difficult thing to build, as there is always a newer car, house, better school, etc. It takes hard work to build a strategy to prioritize the short-term wants and needs versus long-term goals.
Talking about finances can evoke a range of emotions. While some feel excitement, others feel with fear, embarrassment or uncertainty. I have experienced the latter myself. That's why my mission is to help you create a financial strategy for your future that's grounded in empathy and compassion.
With 17 years of experience solving and simplifying complex financial problems, coupled with a caring, approachable style, I foster an environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their story. You'll receive personalized attention, education and tailored, actionable advice that is easy to understand and implement.
I serve mid-to-late career professionals in the Greater Milwaukee area and across the U.S. My clients are advancing in their professional lives or approaching a major life change. Together, we map out their financial goals and organize a strategy to help them achieve their financial aspirations while focusing on what's important – a busy family or social life, challenging career and hobbies.
My husband, Jason, and I live in Milwaukee with our two children where we enjoy exploring the city on our bikes. My passions are cooking and travel, and despite what our teenagers tell you, I'm known for telling the best "Dad jokes" in our family.
