During this volatile market environment, it is more important than ever that the financial advisor you choose to work with is experienced. My experience in the markets began in 1987 on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, just before Black Monday. To say I've experienced volatile markets would be an understatement. My demanding and very knowledgeable client base required me to be on top of every small move in the market. That is the level of attention I bring to our relationship. No matter how bad things may seem to be, some sectors outperform others depending on the economic environment. Your financial advisor should have the experience to guide you through all types of markets.
Investment management is only part of the value I bring to our relationship. In order to achieve your goals, you need a strategy. Financial strategizing begins with determining where you are now. In the first appointment, we will complete a detailed assessment of where you are now, financially. We will record all your assets, liabilities, income and expenses. From that information, I will provide you with a net worth and cash flow report. This valuable report can be stored with your estate documents so that your heirs have a complete picture of your financial situation all in one place when they need it. This will be a living document that we will update throughout our relationship. It can also be helpful to have this report available for your accountant during tax season.
I will help you with some questions you may be asking yourself such as:
What will my retirement cash flow look like?
What should I do with my 401(k)?
How will taxes affect my retirement?
When is the best time to take Social Security?
Will I outlive my money?
Should I convert to a Roth IRA?
What if I become disabled?
I live and breathe the markets, but I also am an avid baseball fan, football fan and family man. I am active in our church and prison ministry. I married my best friend, Tiffany, over 20 years ago. We live in Barrington with our two children, Grace and Jonathan.
