As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it's important to invest my time to understand what is important to you before you invest your money. Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I use an established process to help you build strategies to mitigate taxes, grow your wealth, protect your wealth and help you maximize your transfer goals to loved ones and or your favorite charities.
I joined Edward Jones in 1998 in Carson City. I earned a bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University. I received the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS®) designation in 2003. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
I also earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board’s requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.
I've lived in Carson City since 1986. Prior to that, I was born in and lived in LaSalle, IL. I have two grown daughters, Jennifer and Sarah, two sons-in-laws, Brandon and Ryan, and two grandsons, Henry and Kaysen.
I enjoy hiking, kayaking, skiing, catamaran sailing, fishing, tennis, travel, Wall Street and finance history, reading and writing.
