I started the second phase of my professional career in 2004. Prior to becoming a financial advisor at Edward Jones, I worked in various technical positions leveraging both my business administration and advanced electrical engineering degrees. This breadth of experience has helped provide a foundation for helping investors efficiently reach their financial goals.
It's my conviction that the most important aspects of achieving financial success are:
1. Documenting and specifying your goals.
2. Owning quality investments and feeling informed about the expenses associated with those quality investments.
3. Establishing an appropriate amount of risk necessary to achieve your goals and managing that risk as you get closer to achieving them.
4. Creating a comprehensive strategy that considers initially accumulating wealth and ultimately distributing that wealth for your retirement, your family's education pursuits or passing wealth to future generations and charitable entities.
I have found that many investors are not receiving advice that properly emphasizes these key tenets, with the consequence often being a delay in achieving their goals or, even worse, falling short of reaching those goals.
In addition to an analytic approach to serving investors, I take a disciplined approach to proactively serving my clients. This includes periodic client service contacts as well as ongoing account reviews.
My purpose and vision for serving clients can be summed up as follows: "I endeavor to provide financial solutions that consider the client's requirements as if I were the one receiving the advice."
