Experience and Background

As your Edward Jones branch team, we believe it's important to invest our time to understand what you're working toward before you invest your money. Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family. I can also help with your retirement savings so you have more options when you retire, regardless of what you decide to do.

I began my Edward Jones career in 2004 as a financial advisor in Austin, before moving my office to Smithville in 2005. The previous 10 years, I worked with private investors to finance small businesses and ventures that, for a variety of reasons, were not bankable.

I earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston and the AAMS® professional designation.

My spouse, Cindy, have been married since 1989 and have two children, a son and a daughter.

As an active member of the community, I currently serve as president of the Smithville Food Pantry. Also, I am a past president of the Smithville Noon Lions Club, past chairman of the Friends of the Science Park, past chairman of the Smithville Chamber of Commerce and past director of the Community Network Board, the Children's Advocacy Board and the Smithville Chamber of Commerce.

My senior branch office administrator, June Calender, has 10-plus years of experience and is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service possible. Please don't hesitate to call on her with questions about your statement, dividends, stock certificates or your account in general. She also supports the community by being involved in the Smithville Noon Lions Club.

We provide highly personalized service. All aspects of our business are aligned to help us better understand and meet our clients' unique goals and needs.
