David Chubak

David Chubak began his career with Edward Jones in March 2022 and is currently the head of the U.S. Business Unit. He guides the firm in accelerating its journey and aspiration to deliver human-centered complete wealth management to its current and future clients, leading business-building efforts to meet the evolving and unique needs of Edward Jones' clients while delivering greater value for its branch teams to better serve their clients and communities. David serves on the Enterprise Leadership Team, which is responsible for providing advice and counsel to the managing partner in helping the firm grow its impact and create value for clients, colleagues and communities today and in the future.

Prior to joining Edward Jones, David spent nearly a decade at Citigroup, most recently as CEO of Citi's Retail Bank, where he led all retail channels (the branch network; wealth management, including International Personal Banking; mortgage and small business), as well as product management, segments and risk management, working in partnership with the company's functional teams to drive transformation, scale and growth. David first joined Citi in April 2013 as the global head of productivity, working for Citi's CEO to lead a strategic transformation and deliver against its public targets.

David began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner in the New York office and leader in the Global Banking and Real Estate practices. At McKinsey, David helped some of the world's leading global institutions on matters of strategy, operations, organization, digitization and sustainability.

David earned a bachelor's with honors from Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2006.

David lives in New York, N.Y., with his wife, Jamie, and four children: Lindsay, Ben, Judah and Rachel. He serves his community as a board member at City Harvest, chair of the American Heart Association of New York and a volunteer with the New York Hall of Science. In his free time, he enjoys running, tennis and flying as a private pilot.
