Zach Gildehaus joined Edward Jones in 2013. He is a strategist on the Advice and Planning Research team, where he leads business owner advice and guidance initiatives. He also hosts Sounds Like a Plan, a monthly video series exploring new advice and guidance and timely planning topics.
Prior to his current role, he was a senior analyst in Investment Manager Research (IMR) at Edward Jones where he spent more than six years covering active and passive investment strategies across multiple asset classes.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, he worked at Bank of America as a commercial real estate underwriter working on deals from $5M to $100M, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a bank examiner evaluating financial institutions during the financial crisis, and as a financial planning assistant at an RIA assisting with the development and presentation of financial plans.
Zach attended Webster University in St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2009, a master's in business administration (MBA) in 2011 and has taught finance and economics courses for its MBA program. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2015, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® (CFP®) designation in 2019, the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designation in 2022 and a certificate in executive presence and leadership from Wharton in 2022.
Zach is a contributor to Edward Jones Perspectives and has been featured or quoted in Inc. Magazine, Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, Financial Advisor Magazine, and other national outlets on topics including business-owner succession, charitable giving, and financial decision-making.
Zach and his wife, Tiffany, live in St. Louis, Missouri with their son, Nolan.
