My path to becoming an Edward Jones financial advisor was different from most. I had been a client for eight years when I was approached to join the firm. My Edward Jones financial advisor said I'd be a great resource for others with my business background and my name recognition due to my community service activities. I've been serving my community as an Edward Jones financial advisor since 2007. I hold an Associates of Business Administration with honors from Cochise College, the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist™)* and the ChFC® designations.
I enjoy helping people who have no financial background identify their long-term goals and grow their wealth over time. I was once in their place. I started my financial journey as a single parent in the '80s. We help our clients figure out what they need their money to do for them by establishing goals, listening carefully to understand what is important to them and determining their tolerance for risk. We monitor progress and adjust our strategy as life changes our paths.
Being in a rural area, I am the only full-time financial advisor in town. I am here to serve our community.
I believe in community participation. I serve on several city, school district advisory, and nonprofit boards. One of my favorite community activities is the annual DARC Mother's Day Cake Auction. I've had the honor of organizing this event for more than a decade.
Stop by the office or give us a call – I would love to learn about you, your family and your financial situation.
*The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
