I began working with a financial advisor immediately after graduating from The Missouri University of Science and Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. Since then, I have had a love for the markets and planning. The ability to strategize with clients and structure their financial goals provides a fulfillment that was missing while in the engineering field.
I left consulting engineering after 15 years, 10 of which were practiced as a professional engineer providing forensic analysis after catastrophic losses. My years spent as an engineer have prepared me for life as a financial advisor. I am able to apply the same process driven systems to help each of my clients achieve their financial goals.
I grew up in Independence, MO, where I graduated from Truman High School. Now, my wife, Brianna, and I live in Lee's Summit with our two children, Knox and Brinkley. We also have two dogs, Lulu and Reya. We spend our summers on the soccer fields, our winters at wrestling meets and attend scouting events throughout the year. Brianna owns her own dental practice where she treats kids and enjoys singing Disney songs to her young, adoring patients.
In my free time, I am an amateur woodworker and musician. I love being in the workshop and challenging myself with new projects. If you see me at a gig singing and playing the guitar, please say hello.
I am very fortunate to have Cathy Crowley in the office with me. Cathy's 40 years of experience as an office administrator and an officer at a local firm prepared her well for her role as the branch office administrator. Cathy has two daughters, and her two greyhounds have rightfully earned their retirement from racing. Her passions are international adoption, animal welfare, gardening, estate sales, traveling, china painting and, most of all, spending time with her girls. One of her favorite duties is taking care of our clients, getting to know them and discovering what is most important to them.
Our goal is to treat you like family, so we can help protect your financial goals. Our working relationship will hopefully spill over into seeing each other at community events like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's man/woman of the year campaign, scouting, youth soccer or Chamber of Commerce.
Give us a call to let us show you why our clients love working with us and will continue our partnership through generations.
