The first and best piece of financial advice I ever received was to live within my means. Thankfully, over the years, I crossed paths with a handful of mentors who expanded on that advice and helped me dream and plan for my long-term goals.
I was blessed to be surrounded by hard workers all my life - growing up in Northern Indiana will provide that. I started my working career as a teacher with a degree from Taylor University, so budgeting, saving and planning were critically important. Circumstances and opportunity led me to Edward Jones in 2008. With deep roots in the community, a master's degree and an understanding of education, my desire to "pay it forward" and be a trusted advisor to others all lined up at the right time.
Every community is unique, as are the goals of those that live in them. Working with a firm like Edward Jones that's been around since 1922 gives me access to world-class strategies and products to help clients with a desire for a meaningful strategy, in the Shipshewana area and beyond, plan for their financial future. I believe the combination of my upbringing, education and personal and professional experience give me an ability to relate to and understand a wide range of circumstances.
I start with a conversation about what's most important to you. Only then does the established process of Edward Jones become an effective tool. Rather than broker accounts, I'm more equipped to partner with you over your lifetime to help you reach your goals.
