I enjoy coming to work every day and helping my clients reach their financial goals. Though I enjoy it for many reasons, there are a few that stick out. One is the great relationships I have with them. Over time, many have become friends and I have been there for support and guidance as they have had children, changed jobs, retired, dealt with loss, divorced, married and other important life events. The trust that they have given me and the faith they have in me provides a fulfillment that is hard to find elsewhere.

Another joy of work is the great environment we have. My Senior Branch Office Administrator, Roby, is the first person our clients meet and talk to when they are referred to us. I have had many clients tell me they can hear her smile through the phone, and that she always is in a good mood which brightens their day. Our office truly is a relationship-based environment. We both have had many conversations where we have talked for 20 minutes to realize we haven´t even talked about finances yet! That is why it's great to come to work every day. When you have clients you care about, along with a fun and productive work environment, it isn´t work.

Outside of work, I am a family man. I am married and have two daughters. I am originally from Iowa and my wife is a 3rd generation San Diego native. I enjoy the outdoors and getting off the grid, while my wife likes to do endurance racing. As a family, we enjoy camping, biking and hanging out with our great group of friends and neighbors. When we can, we like to travel, and our favorite destination is New Zealand. How about you?
