Helping my clients through major milestones and realizing their financial and life goals is my passion. I am able to do this by getting to know my clients on a personal level. Understanding what's important to my clients, and why, enables my branch team and me to coach and mentor them through potentially stressful changes in their lives (such as marriage, divorce, job changes, inheritances, retirement and more.). This empowers our clients to take the emotion out of investing, giving them the confidence they need to go forward.
Through our established process, we have been able to effectively partner with business owners and serious long-term investors in the Portland Metropolitan Area to create objectives-based strategies tailored to their unique goals. We also work virtually with clients across the United States.
My branch team and I don't do this alone. We have a robust home office network of analysts and investment strategists to support us in our efforts. It's important that we work closely with your CPA, estate, tax and/or business attorneys, as well as other financial professionals you may have, to remove assumptions and build a comprehensive strategy built on transparency and trust.
I joined Edward Jones in 2011, working out of the firm's headquarters in Tempe, AZ. In 2012, I was asked to assume responsibility of an office in Tigard, OR, before relocating my practice to the Lincoln Center in SW Portland, where I continue to serve investors today. In addition to the work I do for my clients, I have volunteered my time for the Portland Metropolitan region as a field trainer and performance coach, helping new financial advisors build successful, sustainable and ethical practices.
Prior to Edward Jones, I was a student athlete at Willamette University, earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees in economics and psychology, while also serving as captain of the football and rugby teams.
Being an active member of the community is important to me as well. I have served as director of the Tigard Lions Club and as a career advisor for Willamette University. I was also the Varsity Offensive and Defensive Line Coach for Southridge High School's Football Team and the 1st XV Forwards Coach for the Beaverton Area's U-19 Rugby Club from 2012-2017.
