I am a second-generation financial advisor with Edward Jones. As a kid, my dad made mutual fund prospectuses into games for us, and as a college student, I interned and helped organize the first annual hog roast in 2001. I graduated in French and business administration from the University of Montana, in Missoula. I then completed an MBA at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. I then moved to Washington, D.C., and completed a Master of Accountancy. After working around the globe for a big four accounting firm and the government in forensic accounting, I decided to join Edward Jones again in 2012.
My goal is for every client to feel understood, secure, informed and in control. I am proud to continue the family tradition of helping individuals and families make sound financial decisions through every chapter of their lives. Whether your goal is to have a work-optional lifestyle, educate your children, manage your retirement or save money on taxes, I can help. I will meet with you to understand what is important to you, use an established process to build personalized strategies and partner with you throughout your life to help you stay on track. I am known for my ability to simplify clients' financial lives, consolidate accounts and keep them informed so they understand their financial strategy.
I have received numerous awards throughout my career with Edward Jones. I have attended the Edward Jones Women's Conference, where the firm's top 250 female advisors gather to discuss best practices and how to improve service to their clients. I have also been invited to the Barron's Women's Conference, where the top 500 female advisors from all major firms gather to get better at serving our clients.
I believe in giving back to the community. I have previously served on the board of Main Street Mount Vernon and the executive board of United Way of Knox County, and I was a member of Psi Iota Xi. My husband, Brian Ball, and I have two daughters and a retriever.
