Growing up in Alaska teaches valuable lessons:
- Chop your wood before you need it
- Don’t go into the backcountry unprepared
- Somewhere on your journey, turn around and enjoy the view

"Save early, save often" is a value inherited from my parents, a kindergarten teacher and a union worker who both achieved a work-optional lifestyle at age 50. Building on early lessons, my 18 years of financial industry experience have created a process to prepare clients for the challenges of healthcare, social security and tax-efficient income in retirement. And along your journey, we encourage you to enjoy the real wealth of Health, Family and Purpose.

My Branch Office Administrator, Cathy Millin, and I have a combined 30 years of experience. Along with Edward Jones’ 100-plus years in business, we use an established process for our clients:

- Understand what is important to you
- Build a personalized strategy to achieve your goals
- Partner together throughout your life to stay on track

I enjoy volunteering my time as the Investment Committee Chair for the Marshall Scholarship Foundation, serve on the Planned Giving Committee for Prairie Ridge Health, and am active in the Marshall Lions Club.

Although originally from North Pole, Alaska, I moved to Wisconsin in 2012 with my wife, Molly. We have three children: Hank, Hazel and Edison. Outside the office, I spend time with my kids' activities and renovating our 125-year old farm in Marshall. Currently, our only farm animals are the three kids and our three dogs: a German shorthair pointer who loves only me, a bernedoodle who loves everyone except me, and a yellow lab who loves any attention.
