Growing up in Alaska teaches valuable lessons:

- Chop your wood before you need it
- Don’t go into the backcountry unprepared
- Somewhere on your journey, don't forget to turn around and enjoy the view

The values I learned growing up in a hard-working Alaskan family are passed on to my clients. My mother was a kindergarten teacher and my father was a union worker. They both retired at 50. This unique upbringing is the foundation of my financial mindset:

- Understand what is important to you
- Build a personalized strategy to achieve your goals
- Partner together throughout your life to keep you on track

My Branch Office Administrator, Cathy Millin, and I have a combined 25 years of financial industry experience as we continue to deliver the personal service our clients deserve.

I am active in the Marshall Lions Club; serve as the Vice President for the Marshall Area Business Association; serve as the Investment Committee Chair for the Marshall Scholarship Foundation; and serve on the Prairie Ridge Health Planned Giving Committee.

Although originally from North Pole, AK, I moved to Wisconsin in 2012 with my wife, Molly. We have three children: Hank, Hazel, and Edison. We have two dogs: a German shorthair pointer who loves to hunt birds and a yellow lab who loves attention.
