Growing up in rural western Illinois, I learned the importance of setting goals, working hard and respecting others. As I transitioned to suburban Chicago for college, I learned the importance of building relationships around trust. It was experiences like working on a farm, playing college football and working college internships that formed my reputation true to my values of honesty, empathy and discipline.
I began my Edward Jones career in 2007 and have been blessed to work with many individuals, families and business owners. In addition to serving my clients, I have volunteered in many firm capacities including new financial advisor support specialist, recruiting team member, legacy plan host, and Ted Jones Coaching Program. In 2014, I was given the opportunity to become a limited partner with the firm.
I earned my bachelor's degree in marketing and finance from North Central College. While attending, I had the opportunity to intern in the financial advisor role with Smith Barney. I was also a Presidential Scholar, Academic Honor Student, a member of the American Marketing Association and four-year lettermen in football.
I am passionate about giving back to the community and have been active in business and civic affairs for many years. Some of these passions include coaching youth football and serving on boards for the YMCA, Lions Club, Elks Lodge and the food pantry.
I've been married to my wife, Marybeth, since 2011. She has been in elementary education her entire career. In our free time, we enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, being active outside, and spoiling our dog, Haddie.
Our team includes three outstanding branch office administrators, Katie, Holly and Karen. They are dedicated to providing the highest level of professional and personalized service available in our industry.
At Edward Jones, we’re focused on you. The firm has thousands of people and advanced technology supporting our office so that we can help you reach your long-term financial goals.
