When I was growing up, my grandfather would read the Wall Street Journal to me. As I grew older and more interested in finance, we would read it together. My grandfather worked as a groundskeeper on a golf course most of his life. Even though he earned a modest salary, he was disciplined with the money he earned. He educated himself on investing and was prudent with his finances. I was always impressed with how successful he was. Not because he made a lot of money, but because he was self-taught, a disciplined saver and a discerning investor. My grandfather's example inspired me to pursue a career in finance.
I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in business. I hold the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist™) professional designation from the College for Financial Planning. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
I have had the privilege of serving my clients for over 16 years. I am focused on understanding what is most important to them. I enjoy living in and serving the community of Huntington Beach. I am involved in several nonprofit organizations including Charity Water and The Alzheimer's Association. Outside of the office, you can usually find me gasping for breath while training for a Spartan Race or a Tough Mudder.
