As I was completing my psychology degree from Liberty University, I was interning as a high school guidance counselor. I had found a career that would allow me to make a difference, like many of my former coaches and teachers had done for me. Then, I found an opportunity that would allow me to help others achieve their most important long-term financial goals. I became a financial advisor with Edward Jones in May of 2011, and it has been one of the best decisions I ever made.
My parents raised me to always care for others which has led to my passion for volunteerism. I am currently serving as a deacon in my church. I am also on the board of directors for Gardner Square Two. I get a thrill coaching my son, Boston's, and daughter, Cali's, youth sports teams. In the recent past, I co-founded the Chair City Lions, and served as president for five years. My wife, Cynthia, and I are so grateful to be able to give back to our community in these ways.
Dena Whitney joined Edward Jones in August of 2015 after working for an independent financial advisor and insurance agent. Dena is now a Senior Branch Office Administrator with the firm. With her free time, Dena enjoys spending time with her son, James.
As a branch team, we pride ourselves on keeping our clients' interests first. After identifying what is most important to you, I will use a defined process to build customized strategies that will help you achieve them. Finally, we look forward to partnering together over your lifetime to help keep you and your family on track with what's most important!
