In 2008, I started my career with Edward Jones and have been serving clients in Boyne City since 2009. Having been born and raised in Northern Michigan, it is an honor to serve clients where I have been a life-long resident. Prior to Edward Jones, my husband, Dave, and I owned several retail stores in Petoskey. We recently retired our last store after 40 years in business. Strong relationships were the main reason for our long-term success, and I carried that philosophy with me when I came to Edward Jones. I am convinced that relationships are a key ingredient to coaching individuals toward their financial goals.
As a financial advisor, I believe individuals deserve guidance and a coach to keep them on track. I have a passion for taking the time to listen and learn about the hopes and dreams of my clients. Whether preparing for or living in retirement, education considerations or protecting a loved one, we will work together to develop strategies to help you achieve your goals. My branch team, Patricia Brewer and I, is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service.
In 2014, I was named a limited partner with the firm. I hold the AAMS® professional designation from the College for Financial Planning and received my business management degree from North Central Michigan College.
I am passionate about helping kids and my involvement with the Kiwanis Club allows me to achieve this goal. I serve as a board member for Northern Michigan Equine Therapy, a non-profit organization dedicated to using the natural movement and demeanor of a horse to help with physical and mental disabilities. I also like to volunteer for a variety of downtown events and be involved in Team Boyne.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking and outdoor activities. My husband, Dave, and I love downhill skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. We have two daughters, one resides in Germany and the other in Minnesota; my far-flung daughters help us indulge in our love of travel.
