While studying for my master's degree at the University of Arizona, I taught undergraduate classes and loved it. Watching the light bulb go on for a student and knowing I helped create that for them was gratifying beyond words. I continue to teach in my role as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. As I pursue a finance career, I serve my community by explaining finances and I help make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families.
My graduate degree is in organizational communication and social psychology. I have been in the financial services industry for 39 years: six as a banker, 33 as a financial advisor; 30 of those with Edward Jones in Port Townsend, WA, where I currently work with my senior branch office administrator, Kathleen Schott.
Together, we are a team where, for us, work is not work because it is so often enjoyable. Our clients are people we have the privilege to know well and appreciate being a part of their lives. It is exceptionally gratifying to feel one is making important contributions to individuals with customized solutions for their unique situations.
We come to the office every day working to understand what is important to our clients: their goals, dreams, time frames and risk tolerance. Making sure each of their investments are appropriately allocated and balanced to help keep them on track as they experience life changes in an ever-evolving market environment is our commitment and our joy.
